This beautiful wooden cross is handmade from cedar and carefully sanded until it fits smoothly and comfortably in your hand.  “Courage” is written on the front, which is one of the things we admire most about the women we serve.  Also enclosed is a sweet poem, “The Clinging Cross.”  This wooden cross has special meaning for us as our founder carried a similar one with her during the ten months it took to get Blue Monarch off the ground.  She says, “I held that cross so tightly for all those months, I eventually wore an indentation in the front!”  Each one is a one of a kind, but they typically measure 3 ½” x 4”.
